Emma added the financing will come from different sources, such as philanthropist, donor, multilateral financial institutions, and investors.
“SMI believes through this platform, we encourage inclusive development by considering social, economic and environmental aspects,” Emma said.
The platform is going to be utilized as part of government effort in the reconstruction of disaster-hit areas.
The launch of the platform was also attended by representatives of various organizations, such as CK Hutchison Holdings and Ki Ka Shing Foundation, which donated US$3 million and $5 million respectively for the reconstruction of areas affected by the recent earthquake and tsunami in Central Sulawesi through SDG one.
